Dusk

Dusk

I have been busy with work lately. Once again, recalled back to the office at 2 a.m. in the morning. Think I will write about these nocturnal episodes later. I have grown panda spots around my eyes.

Re-work on an old poem that I have been trying to complete for years. Never really was satisfied with it, even now.

---------------------------

Dusk

she teases me
with such sensuality
as she brushes on
a sprinkling of rouge
and
blushing flame red
she wraps strands
of golden gossamer
around
her
fluid curves
and soon
she dons
a dark velvety gown
evenly sequined
with
twinkling diamonds.

this captures a mundane/magical moment so well

- a time of sadness and desire

unfortunately this is the kind of poem that you can play with and never get satisfied with .... at some point, you have to quit and move on.
